Please find below our terms and conditions when renting an apartment or house with the Spanish Connection. From all of us at Spanish Connection, we hope you enjoy your holiday in the Costa Cálida.
All guests are required to pay a reservation payment to confirm their booking. For bookings less than 30 days the amount required is 25% of the total rental. For bookings of more than 30 days the amount payable is 1 month's rent. The reservation payment is non-refundable however guests may transfer their booking to a future date (see modifications).
Reservation payments are payable via bank transfer, paypal or credit card. In the case of bank transfers, guests must send a copy of the transfer either by fax or e-mail so that we can identify the payment. Please note that all transfer costs are payable by the guest and bookings will only be confirmed when we have received the correct amount.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Maestro.
Modifications and Cancellations
All modifications must be agreed to in writing.
Should you cancel your booking with us within 8 weeks of the arrival date you will lose the deposit. If you wish to cancel your booking prior to this date we will return your deposit. All 'no shows' are treated as cancellations and the property will be re-released after 24 hours.
Should you wish to change the dates of your booking you may do so up to 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, free of charge and subject to availability. Modified bookings must be for the same number of nights as the original booking. Bookings may only be modified once.
Reception, Key Collection and Arrival Information
All keys are collected from the management office in Cabo de Palos, just before you arrive to La Manga.
All guests must contact us on or before the day before the arrival day to confirm their arrival time.
Standard Check-in is from 17:00
Standard Check-out is before 10:00
A refundable deposit of €200 is due upon arrival payable by credit card only.
Access to the property prior to the standard check in time of 17:00 is always subject to availability. If you want to check-in in the morning, we will need to confirm this previously in writing.
For arrivals after 21:00 there is a surcharge of €30,00 which is payable at the check in. The latest time that guests may check in is 00:00.
All guests will be met by one of are friendly staff in our office in Cabo de Palos at a prearranged time in order to collect the keys and pay the balance in full. Contact telephone numbers of the person allocated to meet you will be provided in the confirmation e-mail. All clients must provide us with flight details and when possible, a contact telephone number.
Should you require an early / late, check in / out please contact us directly. An additional fee is payable on arrival should you require an early / late, check in / out and while we will endeavor to accommodate your requirements, these modifications are always subject to availability.
When you arrive at our office you will be asked to provide the following before being issued with the keys:
1. Photographic identification.
2. Pay the outstanding balance in cash or by credit card.
3. Pay the refundable security deposit by credit card.
4. Pay any previously agreed early / late, check in / out fee.
The balance can be paid in cash (EUROS) or by credit card on arrival. Should you wish to pay the balance by bank transfer this must be done 7 days prior to your arrival. In the case of bank transfers, guests must send a copy of the transfer either by fax or e-mail so that we can identify your payment. Please note that all transfer costs are payable by the guest and entry to the property will only be given when we have received the funds in our account.
Guests are required to pay a security deposit by credit card only. This will be held by us until your departure when one of our representatives will check the property and refund it, within a maximum period of 5 working days of your departure, provided the property is left in the same condition as it is found. Guests are not required to clean the property after their stay but we do expect that our properties are respected and left in a normal condition of use. Guests staying for up to 30 days are required to pay the security deposit of 200 EUROS. Guests staying for one month or more are required to pay a security deposit of one month’s rent.
Minimum Age & No. of Guests
Bookings can only be made by people over the age of 18. The number of guests must not exceed the maximum capacity of each property with the sole exception of 1 baby sleeping in a travel cot per property.
Extending your stay
Should you wish to extend your stay you may do so subject to availability.
Please leave the property as you would wish to find it. We do ask that you respect the property and remove rubbish daily and upon departure.
Please, leave all used towels and sheets in the bathroom.
Respect the neighbours and keep in mind that siesta time is between 3 and 5pm.
Smoking is not allowed inside any of Spanish Connection properties. If you do smoke, please restrict it to outside.
If you are not used to using A/C, please ask, but the best way is to ensure that the doors and windows are closed when in use. When you leave the property switch it off and drop all the blinds to keep it cool.
Upon check-out, which is at 10:00am unless previously agreed otherwise, please make sure to leave the house in a respectable condition. Used bed linen and towels should be placed in the bathroom, all A/C units or heating to be switched off and all windows closed.
Unless previously agreed otherwise, please leave the keys on the living room table and shut the door. Do not leave the keys on the inside of the lock.
All prices include cleaning. Upon arrival your apartment will be clean and fresh towels and sheets are provided. Mid stay cleans are available at an additional cost and must be arranged previously in writing. Guests are not required to clean the apartment when they leave but we do request that all rubbish is removed and the property is left in a respectable condition.
Only with written authorization from us will guests be allowed to bring pets into the property. Failure to have permission from us could result in deposits being forfeited. In the properties where pets are allowed there is a surcharge of 25€ per pet per stay. Owners are always responsible for any damage or extra clean needed.
Locked Out / Lost Keys
In the event that you lock yourself out of the apartment or lose the keys you will be required to pay for a replacement lock and keys as well as a call out fee.
We strongly advise guests to ensure they have sufficient travel and medical insurance when travelling. We will not be responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings.
Should you have any special requirements please contact us directly and we will endeavor to do everything in our power to ensure that your holiday is both a successful and memorable one.

In the event of unforeseen, unavoidable incidents such as fire or flood damage we reserve the right to refuse entry to our properties. In the case that the property is unavailable to rent we will ensure that you are provided with an alternative of a similar standard or better. Should any guest not wish to take up the alternative property offered then a full refund will be issued corresponding to the remaining number of nights booked.
We reserve the right to access the property during your stay if essential maintenance is required.
We also reserve the right to evict guests who are abusing the property or causing offensive disturbance to other guests or neighbours.
Both the owner of each property and Spanish Connection accept no responsibility for personal injury or damage to personal property.
By making a reservation with Spanish Connection our guests fully agree to accept these terms and conditions and also that only the power and jurisdiction of both local and national Spanish laws apply.
